Do I need a spreadsheet?
No. This grading program replaces the grading sheet and the grading chart you have been maintaining by hand. Enter a percentage, or type number-correct and total-possible and the calculator finishes the score. You can grade from the Dashboard or open that student’s gradebook.
Each student has their own book. You are not copying columns across kids or losing a Google Sheet in a drive folder.
What if I have not graded in three weeks?
Grade whenever it fits — end of the day, Sunday night, or once a month. Homeschool Manager does not lock you to a classroom timetable. The Dashboard shows how much still needs a grade so the pile does not hide.
Where do I see what still needs a grade?
Needs Grading on the Dashboard lists work for every student on one screen. Enter scores there or jump into a student’s gradebook. As you grade, those scores become the year grade that prints on report cards.
Can I weight tests vs worksheets?
Yes. The grading system is customizable: add or remove task types, mark them graded or ungraded, and set weights so a test counts more than a worksheet. Pick the grading scale your family uses. Those settings apply across the school, then each course can follow them.
