Checking off the week writes the attendance log.
Did today even count? If your state wants days or seat time, you should not need a second spreadsheet. Homeschool Manager is the hours tracker and attendance app: completing scheduled work writes the attendance log and the hours.
How to track homeschool hours
When you set up the school year you set the average time for a day’s work in each subject — the same idea as a class period. Checking off a task applies that average time to the hours tracker. Adjust later from the time and attendance record if a day was longer or shorter.
A day counts as attended when any assignment is completed. Completing overdue work still records attendance for the day that work was scheduled, which can keep you from stretching the year for missed days.
Can I export the attendance log?
Yes. From the student’s Documents tab, export an Excel file with hours, school days, and tasks completed for the year — what you need to report to the state or to figure high school credit.
